Development of Screen-Printable Nafion Dispersion for Electrochemical Sensor

چکیده

A modified Nafion dispersion for direct screen printing was developed and characterized. Commercial solution neutralized to its sodium form the solvent replaced by a screen-printing-compatible solvent. The has optimized rheological properties including shear-thinning behavior, thixotropy, moderate yield stress. elemental composition chemical states of were characterized X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). state remained same as those commercial Nafion. crystallinity cured membranes both dispersions evaluated diffraction (XRD). It found that lower compared Nafion, degree increases with an increase in curing temperature. material printed onto sensor cation-exchange membrane detection lead Pb(II) buffer solutions. showed good linearity range 5 µg/L 500 µg/L, limit 2 square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry. This work demonstrates possibility on large scale wide fields, such electrochemical sensors.
